Hello!
I've spent more than 20 years helping international students and young professionals develop the English they need to study, work and communicate confidently in the real world.
My background is in TESOL, English-language teaching and academic management, with experience working with learners from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Over the years, I've seen that learning English isn't simply about learning grammar or passing a test. For many people, English affects whether they can demonstrate what they know, understand an assessment, communicate at work, apply for a job or take advantage of an opportunity.
That's why I created English4Empowerment.
Practical English. Real-world outcomes.
I believe English support should be targeted, useful and connected to what you actually need to do. That might mean preparing for an English-language test, writing an assignment, communicating with customers, preparing for a job interview or simply becoming more confident using English every day. English4Empowerment brings together teaching, practical resources and targeted support to help learners move from “I know some English” to “I can use English to do this.”
A little more about me
I have qualifications and experience across English-language teaching, applied linguistics, TESOL and vocational education.
And yes — I speak Spanish, Russian and French, so I know what it's like to navigate another language from the learner's side too.
English4Empowerment is about more than English. It's about what English makes possible.
Fun fact: I speak Spanish, Russian, and French!
